UPDATE 11--2-08: Isn't interesting that she NEVER appeared on any of the Sunday morning political shows? Here it is, the last Sunday and not one appearance on Meet The Press, not This Week, not Face the Nation, not even Fox News Sunday. Can you remember when a candidate for the Vice Presidency of the U.S. has not appeared on the Sunday shows? She can't handle a serious press interview, but Republicans think she's worthy of being a heart beat away from leading the free world. Well, as long as James Dobson is happy, I guess that's all that matters.
Sarah Palin believes it violates her First Amendment rights if you criticize her for criticizing Obama/Biden. Other than her sad misunderstanding of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Sarah Palin also believes...
- That it's ok to conduct state business via personal email accounts in order to keep. Actually, she clearly used her personal account to proactively hide trails of information -- all the while touting how she governs with "transparency".
- That close proximity to a country gives you foreign policy experience.
- That politicians should bind themselves to ideology and "not blink" (i.e., not think before they act).
- That the V.P. of the U.S. has a policy-making role in the U.S. Senate.
- That community activism is not serious, does not provide opportunities to learn and show leadership nor is worthy of praise - rather should be a target for snarky comments.
- That all of America is not peopled with "real Americans" or "patriots" (rather, only the pockets where the citizens agree with her world view are the "real America").
- Thinks we are at war with Iran (I guess all those brown, non-Christians in the Middle East all are the same in her mind).
